Log cabin quilt for Piyu and Vineet
A friend gave me my first jelly roll of lovely bright strips and I decided to use it to make a log cabin quilt for Piyu and Vineet. I had more than enough fabric for the light shades, but had to add locally available fabric to the coloured strips - had quite a tough time finding fabric that would match, and not run colour.

I have given the pieced top to the same bedsheet person, and he will stitch one layer as backing with some quilting, and then add another layer with a zipper so that this can be used as a quilt, or a duvet cover.
