Sweaters for babies in the new year

just realised that I hadn't updated the blog with  any of my recent and current projects since november 2014. december was a crazy month with lots of weddings to attend so hardly managed to do much though i did contribute to the tiny motifs for the lace tablecloth that is getting made for ramya, chiefly by my mother.

managed to pick up some wool from delhi for sweater sets for three colleagues who have baby daughters. here are two of them:

the patterns are from some old books i had - the nicest part of this project was learning to make pompoms on a fork - such a neat method and so quick too.
