This strips quilt was made with the sole aim of reducing the stash at home, and I am glad that I did succeed to some extent - the orange here is really bright and I am very glad I have no more of it :) A combination of bizzy-lizzy and poplin is not really good for a quilt but then the agenda here was different. With a nice white backing, this two-layered quilt is good for a mild winter. I have hand-quilted the edges and the central orange areas, very minimally. This is the first time I made a quilt without knowing who it's for, and I am glad that the quilt has now been taken by Ramya who said her older quilt (one of the first I made) had to be retired.
