filling up the gaps...

I can't believe i have not posted anything on to this blog since july -  i have definitely been making things! shall now try and post everything that i have been working on.

  

This is a granny square quilt that is my 'away from home' project - mindless but relaxing. This is an on-going project that shall continue till i run out of wool in any one of the three colours.

This pink doily now has beads too and really is pretty.

This was a real lovely project - the yarn which came from japan (bought online from the Pony site) is a mix of mohair and acrylic and was such a pleasure to work with. The stole itself is just a double-crocheted long one made with buttons that convert the ends into sleeves (i saw this style in a yarn store in Birmingham and am so pleased to be able to replicate it). 

This is a tape lace made after watching an online tutorial - a variation on the fan bookmark, this is a nice and quick pattern.
