Bookshelf quilt

 I first made a bookshelf quilt for Charu - it was not a very difficult quilt, and it came out very well.   Charu was thrilled with it. This again, given the weather in Calcutta, has only 3 layers.

A friend then asked for a similar bookshelf quilt, but she wanted it to be just a small wall-hanging.  She was very particular that I not miss out the cat.  The hand-quilting on the white gave this tiny quilt some depth I think.
