Noddy quilt for Vivaan

I just completed this quilt for Vivaan. i initially thought I'd find it tough making a quilt based on Noddy characters but the alternative was to make a quilt of Raavan who's also is one of Vivaan's favourite characters! This was definitely easier, made even easier by using techniques like pasting the appliqué pieces to the base fabric with fabric glue, not tucking in the sides of the cutouts, stitching it all on with zigzag stitches etc.

The quilting (along the ditch) also came out very neat - i used one layer of polyfill as batting. the final measurements are approx 44 x 60" - ok for a four year old. The characters were first printed on to A4 sheets and then blown up to A3 for cutting. It's really been a pleasure making this quilt.
