Quilt for Brinda

my quilt for january was a huge success - it managed to surprise brinda completely and i know she loved it. the work was nowhere near perfect, but it was colourful, and it will be something she will love looking at as it has the pictures of all her favourite people - i have also sneaked in a picture of myself to remind her :)   the pictures were printed on to fabric which was a bit too thin, but somehow the tension seems to have worked out ok. i also didn't manage to do the actual quilting - short of time and knowhow - but i am sure she will manage that very well herself. the quilt had 30 blocks of 12" each - every alternate block was one with a picture - and the final quilt was 60x72 inches.

am now looking forward to working on my february quilt.
