kanishk's crazy quilt

kanishk saw a log cabin cushion cover i'd made, and wanted something similar on a quilt, with just one tiny instruction - he didn't want any order in the quilt - it had to be totally random. little did i know what i was letting myself in for when i promised him a quilt. this one drove me crazy - the end result is attractive enough, but i know there are errors in the piecing. learnt a lot about joining pieces of cloth while doing this 'pain in the neck' quilt. the pillow-cover was so much easier.
