Tortoise for Vivaan

made this tortoise over the weekend - a nice big one. i tried something new with this toy, and i am so pleased that it worked. i was reluctant to stuff foam into a baby's toy (as it could come out from the gaps in the crochet, however tight it may be). i therefore put in a loose piece of cloth to serve as a lining and then stuffed the foam so the toy now is soft and also safe for vivaan (and washable too!). it was easy to just cut off the extra bits of the lining before the sealing/stitching.
