Baby's blanket/quilt
this baby blanket/quilt has come out perfect - the design is beautiful, and the work gets completed so fast! the measurements are 42" x 29". i did each block with 35 stitches, 5 blocks on either side of the main 3-panel design. the main panel had 105 stitches.i still need to add a backing - was planning to put a white lining. now, seeing the blanket on the blue sheet, am wondering if it should be a contrast colour. any suggestions?
Lucky baby!! Sandie, keep the base colour soft since it is for a baby. Can visualise a happy baby-snug as a bug-sleeping with this around her. Very nice.

ReplyDeleteSandhya, this has come out really well. You've used a lovely stitch! I dont back my blankets as the cloth tents to make the blanket quite stiff!
