Crochet bag for Supriya

 I rushed to finish making this bag in time for Supriya's birthday, but thanks to the pandemic and the lockdown, it will not reach her. Anyway, I will use the extra time I now have to add a lining with a zipper on top. 

The bag's height is 13" and width is 11". 

The pattern is a simple 2dc in one ch, skip next ch. I started with a strip of 10 chains in hdc for a length of 11 " and that became the base for the bag. After 11" height in pattern, I added a few hdc rows on top, and then the shaping for the handle.  Yarn - 4 ply cotton, hook #4
